 1.WHY CO-ARSE FOR A BAND NAME?      -first of all, i like to greet hi to all the people who is
reading this zine right now. so co-arse was meant to have a double or secret meaning for us but since you brought up this question  maybe i must
tell you the secret  meaning to enlighten how and where this fuckin name
was taken, Co-arse is taken from the word "coarse"  which in the
dictionary means  unrefined/raw with sharp edges on it like a rock salt you
can use it as adjective. So we think that punk has been tag as
unrefined/no values form of life here. So thats a really great meaning for us and it can fit in our way of life; that we dont conform to any restriction
nor moral values that this society has made.Why we syllabize the co
from the arse which in the oroginal form is and you pronounced it like
kors is because co-means like the same in any group like for usage in
co-workers,co-teacher and etc...and arse is the same as amerika ass so we think that every human who live inthis fuckin planet is in arse mostly
so we think that they are co-arse in the fuckin manner. Did you get my
point?
  
  2.WHEN WAS CO-ARSE FORMED,AND WHO WAS ITS FOUNDING MEMBERS?    -Co-arse was formed and was making shitty noising up any arses
since dec.2001 i think and it was form by me (Rattus) together with friends
like AB(B-ARSE),HEINJE(guit-ARSE),and punkoi(drum Arse  kicking) that came from different bands before our band now.
  
  3.HAVE YOU RELEASE YOUR OWN ALBUM, ANY COMPILATION YOU ARE INCLUDED
IN?     -we have been release an advance demo(10 sonx) cdr last august and
it will be outa as a split cd from life on the edges recs. this summer
with a band from austria's cool crustcore band KURWA APARATA. so far this will be all that we have but there are many projects in line for
co-arse thos year that for example we are planning to release the first
album of co-arse this year. we are just waiting and making new songs that will be included on the album, we are planning to make 20 originall co-arse song, right now we have made 10 song so 10 songs more to go. this project  will be finance by the bands pocket themselves.
  
  4.CRUSTBANDS ARE KNOWN TO BE POLITICAL, HOW POLITICAL IS CO-ARSE?     -crustbands are really carrying a political struggle. So co-arse
is not very closed minded by saying that co-arse is really into
political shit insanity but we do carry our own way to fight the oppresing
system and all the forces who makes our life really fucked up!!! the
struggle in amerika is different from the struggle here so you cant really do
the same thing here but to get some pointers on it, thats the
anarchism.Not conforming to other is doing the same thing as you believe but to cooperate and help each other in a way you struggle your own.

 5.WHO ARE CO-ARSE INFLUENCE MUSICALLY?     -ARSE(Our) influence are into noisy/raw/h.c. shits like
shitlickers,anticimex,bloodsuckingfreaks,doom,eu's arse moderat
likwidation,gism,black uniform,raw power and loads more...... M0re fuckin noice!!!!
  
  6.WHAT IS CO-ARSE STANDS/ VIEW ON CLUB GIGS?
     -my views on club is SHIT!!!! never give in to theire commands...
club were not really in d.i.y but even if given a chance to play in
prestigious bar... we will gonna play there ransack the whole place up.
But sometimes there are no gig venues to organize gig at so if the the
organizers has a sincerity for organizing a gig in a bar why not... as
long the entrance is cheap as the organizer can charge the door. Like
what had happen in a peaceful protest (JAPAN)
  
  7.WHAT IS CO-ARSE POINT OF VIEW ON THE D.I.Y PUNK ETHIC?     -D.i.y ethics? thats a nice query cos there are many people who
are confused on this idea. So
d.i.y for me is really making it for
yourself as an alternative for the mainstream thing like for if you are
making your own fanzine instead reading those celebrity rockstar bullshit
magazine to make your own zine will be more better cos you get to know
and educate yourself by making this labor of love. It also the same with
the album making of a band. But you must try to make the qualities of
those in the mainstream like the packaging and all the that. DIY doesnt
mean that it should be made ugly or what. Also diy means it free for
all fuckin time, like for those shitheads who thinks this way. Theya re
fuckin been mistaken cos your should yourself support the scene and not
asking for your own convenience and making diy as your fuckin scape
goat. That's really bullshit!!!!
  
  8.YOU ARE THE EDITOR OF VERBAL OFFENSE WHEN DID YOU STARTED THIS
PUNXZINE AND WHATS IN IT FOR YOU?     -me (RATTUS) was now making the verbal offense
punxzine. This is
my labor of my love to the scene and for myself cos i really want to
know more people and their punk scene, by this way i get  to do that all,
it started 1989 when i was in my senior year in highschool but due in
1990 did i completed my first issue as a Head shrinker fanzine, after
that for 3 issues i change the name to v.o.p that was early 90's i think
like 93?
  
  9.CAN YOU ENLIGHTEN US HERE IN ZAMBALES ON THE PRESENT PUNK SCENE IN
MANILA?     -Manila as like other places has striving to be healtier punk
scene which right now is going great although fad of the punk things has
arise again but i know it will fade soon and only the strongest and the
trueones will remain. For now there are many new good bands who are
making the balls roll like hell. So cheers for them and keep on making what 
you want not what your peers wants fuckin fad in punk!!!
  
  10.BANDS(LOCAL/FOREIGN)YOU RECOMMEND WORTH
HEARING FOR.       -LOCAL:Disabuse/standfast/paraconflict/beauty of
doubt/sedition/krach/this is all i can remember for now but i can certainly know that
there are more good bands right now that worth checking out for.
FOREIGN: severed head of state,murder disco,suicide melee,worlds burn to
death,augsebomb,suicideblitz,apocalipstick/lost world. and fuckin more....
  
  11.HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED POLICE FUCKIN BRUTALITY?       -a few times... but the logic here is not to let this bastards
have the fuckin right  to fucked your lifes. You must be carefull at
anytime.
  
  12.DO YOU BELIEVE ANARCHISM WOULD SAVE US FROM OUR PRESENT MISERABLE
CONDITIONS?       -Anarchism is just a tool but if the people themeselves who
can't change even on any ideas we can't be fuckin save.
